Procedure 7-4 

Adding Devices using Auto-Discovery

Step Action

1 Select Devices from the main menu.

2 Click Discover.

3 Select the ne

twork from the Select interface dropdown list that you want to discover

cameras on.

4 (Optional) De-select the Default Associations checkbox

if you want to define custom

associations after the devices have been added.

5 Click Discover.

he Auto-Discovery feature searches for cameras on the network w

hich may take a few

minutes. Devices that are discovered are displayed in the Discovered Device List.

Note

If there are devices that you expected to be discovered, but are not displayed, you

may need to add these devices manually as some manufacturers require devices

to be pre-configured.

6 Select the checkbox(es) for the device(s) you want to add to the NVR from the Discovered

Device List.

7 Use the ar

row right button to move the selected devices to the NVR list.

8 Select the chec

kbox(es) of the device(s) you want to import to the NVR from the NVR list.

9 Click Impo

rt to NVR.
